Packaging as art - Suzanne Jongmans
Whilst I still have Luddite tendencies I have to confess that one of the great joys of the web are the serendipitous discoveries that may be made when on a meander through its net. Whilst looking for artists working with packaging material I came upon the work of Suzanne Jongmans. She is a Dutch Artist and Photographer who has been inspired by 16th and 17th century paintings and has reinterpreted famous images by clothing her models in packaging material. Brilliant
Hendrik Kerstens photograph of his daughter Paula is also inspired by seventeenth century masters
